Teleworking, which is working at home is spreading in Japan because some people got the coronavirus.
After the first person got the virus in Japan at 16th, the stock price of some companies which deal with telework system, Cybouzu and V-Cube rose to 9%, compared with Japanese average stock price decreasing to 2%.
According to Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the rate of Japanese companies which use teleworking rose to 19.1%. The rate of US companies is about 80% and of UK companies 40%. In order to relieve traffic jams during Tokyo Olympics, the government try to spread the teleworking system.
GMO, the Internet group announced that about 4,000 employees can work at home in order not to spread coronavirus. In the stock market, it can be the turning point to spread teleworking system.
